The Communist Party of Second Life (CPSL) aims to be a Marxist, internationalist and revolutionary organization for all communists in Second Life.
The CPSL aims to spread understanding of Marxism among SL citizens, to organise support in SL for the class struggle in RL, including all progressive struggles of the working class against imperialism and the bourgeoisie, its state and wars.
The main means for doing this is the creation and maintenance of a “Marxist Cultural Center”, as the organizational center of the Party, at which we aim to raise class consciousness, deepen international solidarity and promote the victory of the proletarian class struggle through activities such as debates, seminars and social events.
Furthermore the CPSL support progressive struggles within SL, especially those against fascist organisations and other reactionaries, and intend to promote actions against corporations, against racism, sexism, all forms of homophobia, national oppression, persecution of religious minorities and other forms of discrimination, linking these to the anti-capitalist struggle in RL.
The CPSL is totally self-financed, so fundraising will be conducted at all our events. Other donations are always accepted with gratitude.
The CPSL has no open enrolment: this is a necessary precaution to prevent infiltration by griefers and reactionaries.
The CPSL intends to participate widely in the life of SL so as to promote Marxism and class struggle, advancing the programme of revolutionary communism and striving at all times for working class unity in action.
CPSL is a broad organization of Marxists, and as such aligns itself with no existing party or political trend. It is by purpose and nature a non-sectarian organization.
In the words of Marx we “openly declare that our ends can be attained only by the forcible overthrow of all existing social conditions.”
Join us in the struggle – support the CPSL!
